Some people describe fundraising as begging and/or soliciting.  Merriam Webster describes fundraising as: the organized activity of raising funds (as for an institution or political cause).

Fundraising for the King Shepherd International club provides the funds needed to sponsor the shows and activities that are enjoyed by members and non members of our club.  It is also another way for us to get name recognition or “branding” out to the masses.  As we are all aware King Shepherds are a breed in development; however, we should not sit back and let the “breeders” do all the work (or have all the fun) in developing our cherished breed, you too can help.  Wouldn’t be great to walk down the street and have some child say “Hey Mommy look at that beautiful King Shepherd” instead of “I’ve never seen a German Shepherd that size before”.  By participating in fundraising activities we can promote the recognition of this magnificent breed.  So please send in your raffle entries for the calendar.  It really is a conversation starter.  We are also real close to offering a King Shepherd International Club coffee mug and canvas tote bag.  Be on the look out for more items to come such as:  water bottles, key chains, a day planner showcasing the top winning King Shepherd of the previous year on the cover, as well as a window cling for your vehicle
